The Jed Report is at it again with another damning video, this time "focusing on McCain's relationship with Washington DC lobbyists, using clips from the past 18 years, from the Keating scandal to present."

Has anyone see Bridget McCain? What does she look like? Will she be attending the Republican Convention? Will John appear on stage with his "entire" family when accepting the nomination? McCain's adopted daughter Bridget is about 16 years old, surely there's nothing more important in her life than sharing this once in a lifetime experience with her dad as he's officially nominated for President of the United States by his party.
John and Cindy McCain get points for adopting Bridget, but if they display their shame of her on a national stage, then my opinion of these two drops to absolute zero.
I'm voting for Obama anyway, but I've been wondering about this for a while. Sorry, this has nothing to do with Lobbyist; that is unless his lobbyist buddies are telling him it would be a really bad idea to put the adopted daughter from Bangladesh on camera -- or maybe good old Karl.

GOP Cites Richest County In America As Proof The Economy Is Great!
*This county is home to many of the millionaire corporate lobbyists that have been instrumental in the passage of rigged trade deals.
The Roanoke Times reports that as Barack Obama convened a discussion about unfair trade policies in economically ravaged regions of Virginia, the national Republican Party countered by citing Fairfax County as proof the economy is doing just fine. "It doesn't take a lot of courage to go to Martinsville and talk about trade," said U.S. Rep. Tom Davis (R) said in a Tuesday conference call arranged by McCain's campaign. "What would be courageous is to come to Fairfax County, where you have 362 foreign-owned companies and tens of thousands of employees with foreign-owned firms...and take the same stand up here."
Besides the tone deafness of holding up foreign-owned firms as proof of a solid domestic economy, Davis forgot to mention that according to Forbes magazine, Fairfax County has long been the wealthiest county in the United States - a place where the median (the median!) household income is over $100,000 a year. The county is home to many of the millionaire corporate lobbyists that have been instrumental in the passage of rigged trade deals.
Davis citing Fairfax County today as proof that trade policies are working for the vast majority of the country would be like Herbert Hoover citing the Rockefeller family as proof that the economy was working for most Americans during the Great Depression.

To be fair, Bridget is allegedly in a private boarding school this year while her parents travel for the campaign. She HAS appeared on occasion when it's near her school. They are not trying to hide her.

The video should have bracketed clips of McCain showering praise on Georgia with the fact that his spokesman on the nation is a lobbyist for Georgia!
What about McCain's ties to the Rev Moon? Lotsa dough, lotsa clout! Some animals are just more equal than others. NIce family or sorority party photo of Bridget, are there any of her on a stage with adoptive mom, dad, et al in plain view? Not really? Thought so.
