Yup, that's John McCain boarding the yacht of Raffaello Follieri, former playboy beau of actress Anne Hathaway and current felon. What's the Ol' Maverick doing celebrating his 70th birthday on a yacht in Montenegro with his campaign manager Rick Davis? The Nation has the scoop.
John McCain has been hammering rival Barack Obama for being little more than a vapid "celebrity" and "elitist." But The Nation has obtained a photo revealing just how star-struck a straight-talking maverick can become when offered the chance to celebrate his birthday aboard a yacht filled with celebrities--even if one of those celebrity types turns out to be an A-list con man.

What would the reaction be if it were Obama schmoozing on the yacht of a Hollywood celebrity with David Axelrod? Do we even have to ask?

Hell, two weeks ago, I just went about my daily life when I got caught in a minor traffic scrape, and was subsequently jailed for cocaine "allegedly" found in my rental car. I'm now facing a bullshit felony charge.
Sorry, unless the guy was a known felon (to McCane) at the time of this now two-year-old birthday bash, move on.

I was over at the electoral-vote.com site which is suffering a plague of red all over the map and for the first time, the Republicans have taken the electoral college lead. The Democrats seem to be barely ahead in a lot of states they won last time. Even single republican state they had been taking has been completely reversed.
A lot of these polls seem to have come out after the Republicans have told lie after lie after (easily proven) lie. This is on top of the massive destruction of the last 8 years and the weakest Republican ticket in recent history - go on, compare it to the last one even. What the hell is wrong with people?

Having lived through 3 hurricanes in Mexico, I can pretty much guarantee lots of road damage. Like, roads missing. They just completely end. Especially a hurricane with this much water in it. Use extreme caution on the road. Take lots of fluids for you and maybe some stragglers. Gasoline would be wise to carry with you as well. Good Luck. Be Carefull.
