On Face the Nation Senator Obama said "Iran IS developing nuclear weapons" This is a lie. There is absolutely no truth to this. This is the first time I have ever heard Obama repeat the neo-cons inflammatory and false claims about Iran. Bob Schieffer did not challenge this claim.

The "Undiplomatic" post is excellent. I also like the "Why I Like Matt Daemon" entry he has linked at the bottom. I know the man has been attacked because you're not allowed to have an opinion if you're an actor but he's right! He makes excellent points and he doesn't use hyperbole. He's absolutely right. And may I just add that the woman is a brain dead psycho. She's a stepford conservotards. Empty upstairs and totally willing to assimilate any lie as long as it helps her achieve whatever theft or crime she's attempting to pull off at the time.
She's 100% corrupt. She's barely been in office for 2 years and there are two investigations into her behavior. She lets her husband sit in on sensitive government business. Uses off-site email accounts to avoid detection. And these are all things that are now public knowledge. What about all the stuff they haven't caught her doing?
I wouldn't trust this b**ch to run the local coin-op laundry. She'd probably try to explain away the money that would inevitably be missing by siting "shrinkage" from the heat of the machines.

Look I am on Obama's bus but he should not be allowed to get away with repeating the false and dangerous claims that the right wing radicals keep repeating about Iran. They are dangerous and untrue. The director of the International Atomic Energy Agency has asked all sides of the Iran/Israel issue to turn down the inflammatory rhetoric. Obama should not jump on this bus he should state facts not neo con accusations that have been proven to be wrong.

2. What the hell is Private Mortgage Insurance for? When I went to buy a house, I did not have 20% down so I had to pay Private Mortgage Insurance. My understanding is that this was to cover the lender just in case I defaulted on my loan. Isn’t the very purpose of this insurance to bail out the banks? Ok… so where are they. Why did I pay PMI and why is it required?

It's a frightening sort of bullshit claim too: Because it's so obviously bullshit. We have no real proof Iran has a nuclear program. Yet.. without certain knowledge of the mere existence of any centrifuges, we're supposed to believe we know how many they have? You can't possibly have quantitative knowledge without qualitative knowledge!
It brings back memories of Colin Powell's UN presentation (which we all know now was completely bunk)..
Powell: "Our conservative estimate is that Iraq today has a stockpile of between 100 and 500 tons of chemical weapons agent."
To which I had the exact same thought back then. "You guys can't show conclusive proof they even have these weapons and now you want me to believe you know how much they have??"

OTOH, the number stated isn't enough to produce weapons-grade uranium. So as proof of a weapons program as opposed to peaceful uranium refinement it's still dubious at best.
I'd be more worried about the media's centrifuge trying to spin us into a dizzy fear where we'll believe anything without question.
Like bailing out the mortgage industry when we have been paying mortgage insurance premiums to cover their asses all along!

Madeline Albright, Colin Powell, James Baker, Henry Kissenger, Christopher Warren have all recommended that negotiations with Iran are a priority. This was the first time I have heard Obama repeat such a lie. He usually stays with the "there are questions about Iran". Iran has the right to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes. Iran as well as Iraq and other nations have repeatedly asked Israel to sign onto the Non Proliferation treaty..Israel has endlessly said NO. These nations have felt a very serious threat from Israel with good reason...since it was the Israeli Lobby who pushed us into invading Iraq (along with the oil, theo cons). The Lobby started to push for military action against Iran and sanctions immediately after the illegal and illegal invasion of Iraq. All you have to do is visit the Aipac site to see how this is done. They have been focused on Iran for five solid years.
They continually spin what ever the Iranian President says.

I do so hate to rain on your parade but Iran does have a four thousand centrifuge cascade. It has been inspected by the IAEA and lots of footage is available. That is not big enough by an order of magnitude to supply a weapons program but it's existence is not in doubt and to me troubling. Iran has a perfect right to develop nuclear power but if they wanted to do that they could buy the technology off the shelf much cheaper

As you point out there are questions as to how many centrifuges Iran has but as you also noted "not big enough by an order of magnitude to supply a weapons program" let alone as Obama has recently said (and Micheal Ledeen, Reuel Marc Gerecht and other warmongers have lied about) that Iran has "nuclear weapons". There is absolutely no proof to back up such a claim.
I tell you what would help Iran relax a bit is if Israel stopped threatening along with the U.S. If Israel would commit to not pre-emptively strike Iran based on unsubstantiated claims. Or how about Israel sign the Non Proliferation Treaty. Many of the nations in the middle east have been begging, asking, demanding that happen for years.
Now that might help some of those nations relax in regard to Israel's massive stockpiles of nuclear, biological and chemicals weapons.

WHERE THE HELL IS CHENEY. I've been posting this everyday for a week now. When was the last time anyone has seen him.
My theory is that:
1. He is in his bunker orchestrating armageddon a new cold war wit russia, bombing Iran for his final hurrah in the dying Bush prez days.
2. He is in his counting house counting all his money
3. He is quick studying Palin. In his bunker.
4. He is organising cheap clapboard housing and tent traileer parks by Halliburton for post-bailout depression.
5. He is undergoing heart, lung, brain transplants from dead Mexicans.
