Astrology: Does Your Heart Express Kindness?

Kindness is what we need, because love is all that matters. By listening, we can give to others.. while receiving what our own heart seeks.
Astrology: Does Your Heart Express Kindness?

Jupiter (the planet of abundance and expansion) has been settling into the comforts of Cancer for the last six months, and will be there until July 2014. Jupiter encourages less speaking, to listen more - for the purpose of deeper understanding. In Cancer, we're seeking love, and messages from the heart. But because emotions are precious, the heart is caged, and many will run into emotional walls that have been intentionally put up - for self-protection.

In this transit, it is suggested that if we want to move closer to those we care for, then we must learn how to quietly listen more. By becoming more understanding, we can move along with others. Again, if we REALLY want to meet our loved ones (or maybe even ourself), we need to stop barging ourselves onto others - and learn to be more aware with thoughtfulness, gentleness, and kindness. Our approach is the key.

Watery Cancer is feminine, cardinal energy, and the ruler of the fourth house in the astrological wheel. The keyword for Cancer is ‘I feel’, along with affection, tenderness, home, emotional securities, motherly care, softness, sympathy, nurturing, compassion, and intuition. In other words, imagine our heart to be like a heart-shaped treasure box. It is only filled with highly sensitive vibrations, that are crammed with our most special keepsakes of our lifetime: experiences, memories, and raw feelings. Some hearts are more pleasant, while some are in pain and still healing. Understanding this, we need to understand that we do not really know what exists in the heart of others, so we must learn to gently knock, ask permission, and wipe our feet before entering.

What our heart invests into others, will give us a much larger return.

What has become sacred in our hearts and our personal shrine, is what we have come to know and understand. For many, love is all that matters. It is a gift from the heart, that costs us nothing. Happiness and emotional comforts can be found simply within the family, having warm female relationships, a healthy mother relationship or our nurturer, pride in our home, creating warmth for those we care for, happy children, or even slaving over a hot kitchen to cook everyone's favorite request - then sealing it with a kiss. Then scoring extra points by baking home-made gooey treats for everyone. The happiness and smiles are priceless. It's not ego, but a quiet understanding of knowing that what our heart invests into others, will give us a much larger return.

In the end, it's how your heart feels.

Other mentionable opportunities that form emotional bonding and security for our center can include: affectionate displays, sharing traditions passed down from generation to generation, old photographs, memories from the past, gentle approaches, antique furniture, heart-felt love letter and keepsakes, apologies, personally hand-written notes, family recipes, long-lasting romances, pearls, holding hands, receiving forgiveness, adopting strays, moonlit walks by the ocean, scrapbooks, psychic intuitions, creating a sense belonging for those less fortunate, an intimate relationship with nature, understanding your loved ones by listening to their words, and the healing energy of touch and hugs. Acts of kindness and love allow us ALL to feel, and heal.

With Jupiter in this gentle loving house, we should learn to listen to our heart - to recognize how the littlest things can actually move and affect us. The more aggressive and thoughtless our approach is, the more of the same behavior is returned. But the more we care, reach out, sympathize, and forgive - the more love we can receive. Once you get the hang of helping and being kind, it is addictive. Because it makes YOU FEEL good. Despite the madness in the world today - kindness matters. And we must give, to receive.

As Jupiter generously bloats and expands, an ocean of emotions will rise to the surface. Here is where self-nourishment will be sought, as we begin a need to 'mother' incoming sensations that will connect us closer with our own inner rhythms, lunar cycles, true nature, emotional securities, and the place we call 'home'. This is to increase the reasoning behind our frustrated moods and uncontrolled behavior - to free us from what we think we know. In return, we receive the importance of truth, understanding, and trust.

Despite the madness in the world today - kindness matters.

With Jupiter in Cancer, compassionate blessings will be delivered, as well as opportunities to learn how to give your heart to others. If you aren't seeking to share, one can be faced with their own shadows and turbulent emotional waves. Cancer is highly sensitive and reactive, with an excellent memory - remembering the good AND the bad. Jupiter can help us study our own highs and lows, as he magnifies our feelings, which can be clinging onto overloaded sensitivities, crabbiness, suspicions, emotional eating, co-dependency, suffering, jealousy, and self-defense. Powerful moist energies are intended to increase body fluids, sweating, watery tears, sexual moistures, and intimate juices - for healing. This abundance in wetness will influence our moods, along with our weather, producing increased amounts of precipitation and flooding. And since Cancer rules the chest, breasts, breastbone, stomach, digestive system, womb and the pancreas - these particular areas may be much more sensitive (or bloated) than usual. May your heart be blessed with much love, and may you generously share what you receive - to keep your love active and alive.
