Iran will attend Syrian peace talks this week in Switzerland but without preconditions, foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham told the official IRNA news agency.

"Based on the official invitation, Iran will participate in this conference without any preconditions," Afkham was quoted as saying.
