Most people know Pat O"Brien as a former CBS sportscaster from 1981-97, but his resume goes much deeper than that.

As his work as the anchor and host of Access Hollywood from 1997 to 2004, and The Insider from 2004 to 2008.O'Brien covered six Olympic Games, two for CBS (1992 Winter and 1994) and four for NBC (2000, 2002, 2004 and 2012). He has also covered the World Series, Super Bowl, NBA Finals, and Final Four as a pregame host while at CBS.He authored the book Talkin' Sports: A B.S.-er's Guide, published in 1998,[1] and released an autobiography in 2011.

Not only is he an incredible host and interviewer, what most people don't know is that he's also an avowed lefty and he asked me to join him on air to talk about Gov. Chris Christie's "Bridgegate" scandal.

John Amato of crooksandliars.com chats with Pat about the Chris Christie scandal, and what happens when you get caught in a web of lies. Other topics of discussion include Duck Dynasty, legalization of marijuana, Wall Street, voter IDs, and the NSA.

We also touched upon the Duck Dynasty woes, legalization of marijuana, Wall Street, voter IDs, and the NSA as well. It was a lot of fun.

Check out his website here to listen to Pat's interviews with rocker Joe Walsh, Julius Irving (Dr. J) , NFL Culture, with Shawne Merriman, Toi Cook, and Alex Marvez, Dr. Wendy Walsh and many more.

You can also listen to this entire podcast for free and all his other interviews at The Pat O'Brien Show on iTunes here.
