All 50 states now have laws aimed at preventing concussions and reducing further injury to young athletes who have suffered one, according to a new report from the Education Commission of the States.

Mississippi’s governor signed a bill in January, making it the last state to create rules governing youth sports. The laws vary greatly, but most include measures to educate coaches about the signs of concussions and the ways to manage athletes who have suffered from one.
