Whether you feel that it's alive or not, this guy is definitely living the American dream. Shoji owns a 2,000-seat theater and is a virtuosic violin player. As for the music, well, just have a listen and you'll get the idea. But hey, I've got to give the guy some credit for going out there, donning his sequined cowboy jacket, and leading a huge band to put on a show for several hours. Also, he's been doing this almost every single day for the past 21 years. With that kind of work ethic, I can't be too hard on the guy. In his variety sow, he also attempts to "play every type of music," which is an admirable goal, but just plain impractical. But alas, I am but a lowly internet blogger who doesn't own his own theater or play violin behind his back, so who am I to stifle his dreams?
Got any favorite violin players?
