Soulful vocals, dense guitars, virtuosic soloing, and an eclectic percussion arrangement: these are all things that made Spooky Tooth great. And they managed to stuff all of that and more into this one song. These guys got overshadowed by a lot of the other bands of the late '60s-early'70s, but they were able to match or even exceed the quality of the best of them (as far as rock groups go, anyway). However, that was mostly due to multiple breakups and line up changes, which made it tough for the band to move forward. Still, recorded plenty of good stuff in their time and saw some interesting additions to the band, ranging from members who would go on to join other bands like Humble Pie and Foreigner, so there was no shortage of talent in the group.
