This might be one of the more achingly stupid and infuriating conversations I've ever seen on Fox -- and that's saying a lot.

Megyn Kelly, who's the "smart" one on Fox (she graduated from third-tier Albany Law School and then worked as a credit lawyer for Experian) either doesn't understand, or refuses to acknowledge, the entire point of the adversarial legal process.

Which is: to establish the credibility of witnesses and the validity of physical evidence.

You can only do that in a trial, Megyn dear, you fucking shameless sellout. Even the graduate of a third-tier school should know that much. Or were you so focused on selling out to Big Law that you didn't pay attention to things like trial law?

What pisses me off is, I've seen glimmers of intelligence and perception from Megyn. She's not an idiot. So when she launches into a heartfelt defense of the process that resulted in no bill of indictment for Darren Wilson, she's only performing her part. She's a right-wing pin-up girl, an actress. She knows her place. (And the number of zeroes on her paycheck.)

District Attorney Bob McCulloch produced a show trial. It wasn't a real trial, no matter how hard the jurors worked. Even a sellout like Megyn Kelly should know that much.

Because the entire process was corrupted from the start.

McCulloch is a liar, a known liar. He's done this little setup routine in cop cases before. But Megyn lives in a world where she glides by on appearance. God forbid she does enough homework to earn that fat paycheck.
