Bloody Bill's finest does his best to attempt to absolve Darren Wilson from any responsibility for the death of Michael Brown.
November 30, 2014

From one of Bloody Bill Kristol's finest over at the National Review Online, Rich Lowry on this Sunday's Meet the Press does his best to lay 100 percent of the blame for Michael Brown's death on Brown himself and absolve Officer Darren Wilson for his actions. During a discussion on the grand jury decision and the continuing protests in Ferguson, MO, Lowry decided to throw this stink bomb out there on what "lessons" should be learned from the incident.

LOWRY: You look at Ferguson specifically, this is an area where the governmental structures haven't caught up to the demographic change over the last two decades or so and that's something you take care of simply by organizing and voting.

But what I really object to is you can discuss all of these problems, but let's not pretend that this particular incident was something it wasn't. It you look at the most credible evidence, the lessons are really basic. Don't rob a convenience store. Don't fight a policeman when he's stopped you and try to take his gun and when he yells at you to stop with is gun drawn, just stop and none of this would have happened.

Never mind that, as Eugene Robinson immediately pointed out that a lot of what Lowry tossed out there was disputed by a good number of the witnesses. Never mind the fact that Wilson's testimony wasn't credible, or the fact that the prosecutor's office tainted the entire verdict, or all of the other problems with the entire process which never should have let Darren Wilson off the hook, we're supposed to buy Wilson's story hook, line and sinker as Lowry did in his recent article over at Republico Politico and in the segment above.

The other panel members looked pretty horrified following Lowry's statement, but none of them asked if he really believed that execution without a trial was the proper punishment for the things he was accusing Brown of doing.
