Last Week Tonight's John Oliver had a suggestion for South Carolina and any other state that continues to fly the Confederate flag.
June 21, 2015

Last Week Tonight's John Oliver opened his show with a look back at this week's news, starting with the massacre in Charleston, South Carolina, and how terribly depressing it was to listen to President Obama discuss that fact that absolutely nothing was going to be done about our gun laws in the wake of another shooting.

Oliver moved onto the outrage that's been expressed over the fact that South Carolina is still flying the Confederate flag at the state capitol, and politicians like Lindsey Graham who have been twisting themselves in knots trying to defend the fact that it's still there.

After taking a shot at the state for their law that won't allow for the flag to be lowered, much less removed, Oliver had a suggestion for what South Carolina, or any other state still flying the Confederate flag could do with it.
