The Grim Reaper seems to be working overtime lately when it comes to knocking on the doors of musicians.

The late breaking news of Glenn Frey's death came after post time. We'll honor him tomorrow night -- please feel free to suggest a song for tomorrow night's music club in comments below.

Drummer Dale "Buffin" Griffin was member of Mott The Hoople from when the band started in the late 60's until they disintegrated in 1974. After that he formed a production company which produced records for Hanoi Rocks and the Cult. From their he joined the BBC and, from 1981 to 1994, engineered live radio sessions by a long list of groups including the Nirvana session that gave the world their two Vaselines covers "Son Of A Gun" and Molly's Lips."

In 2008, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. When Mott The Hoople announced in 2009 that they would be doing some reunion shows, Dale's seat was filled by Pretenders drummer Martin Chambers, though he did come out play the encore's during their 5 night run at London's Hammersmith Apollo.

Buffin died in his sleep Sunday night at the age of 67.

What are you listening to tonight?
