Omaha resident and Donald Trump supporter Steve Bowman has an interesting sign in his window. In addition to his "Make America Great Again" sign, he has one that says "N----- Obama," underscoring how deep the ties are between Trump and the white nationalists who inhabit much of the South and the Midwest.

"You think the use of the N-word is a little strong?," the reporter asks.

"Well," said homeowner and Trump supporter Steve Bowman, "I grew up in the 60s. I remember racial riots, I know Martin Luther King."

He goes on to enumerate all of the awful events of the Civil Rights Movement before claiming he's got a Master's degree in history, all of which doesn't really matter to the guy, because President Obama is a black guy.

"I have a Master's degree in history, so I know my history pretty good," Bowman continued. "Yeah, it might be a little racist," he concluded.

His African-American neighbor, Regaina White, says he puts up racist material all the time, which she gently asks him to remove.

Her forbearance is admirable, but let's not beat around the bush. This guy is as hateful and racist as anyone in a KKK robe, which is exactly what Donald Trump's campaign has unleashed.

This is the unvarnished truth about Trump. His goal isn't to make America great again. It's to make America hate again, and for that hate to reign supreme across the nation.
