This is apparently Donald Trump's idea of African American outreach. It seems his goal is to get down to a half a percent rather than one percent of their vote this November.

Here he is on Fox host Jeanine Pirro's show, opining about his photo-op down in Louisiana this week:

Trump continued his multi-day effort to court the African-American vote with an appearance Saturday night on Fox News.

Trump’s message to the black community: Your lives are so miserable, I couldn’t possibly make things worse. He ignores the black middle class and describes the entire racial group as uneducated, unemployed and desperate.

Trump told Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro that blacks in America have “no health care, no education, no anything.” He described the lives of African-Americans as “a total catastrophe.”

Pressed on what he would actually do for African-Americans, Trump said that he would “get jobs,” without elaborating. Trump also promised to bring “spirit” to African-Americans by being a “cheerleader.”Trump’s argument ignores that the vast majority of African-Americans have jobs, health insurance and do not live in poverty.

Never mind how insulting he is. The media will still treat him as though he's being sincere. I'm just waiting for Tweety to be fawning all over his new campaign manager for this:
