On last night's Late Show, Stephen Colbert asked Michelle Obama if she had sympathy for the spouses of Presidential candidates.

No. She doesn't.

"You have to be in it, if you're in it. And if you didn't agree, you should have agreed before they ran. Bottom line is, if I didn't agree with what Barack was saying, I would not support his run."

Unsaid was how Melania Trump is completely missing from the campaign trail since the Republican Convention.

Stephen asked about Melania and the plagiarism of Michelle Obama's 2008 speech by Mrs. Trump, noting that the campaign has staff, and things, and creations and...

"Yeah, that's tough." replied Mrs. Obama.

Stephen Colbert changes the subject. Smart man.

The rest of the segment is devoted to Mrs. Obama's "Let Girls Learn" initiative. It's pretty clear Mrs. Obama is not going to retire in January. Good for all of us.
