Brianna Keilar once again proves she should be sitting in the anchor seat instead of Wolf Blitzer as she absolutely rips Representative Sean Duffy to bits for his ridiculous defense of Donald Trump's near billion-dollar loss in 1995.

At one point, Duffy accused Keilar of "peddling conspiracy theories" for pointing out that Donald Trump has not denied any of the facts in the New York Times report about his 1995 tax returns, but she would have no part of that.

"Everyone who can take tax write-offs to reduce their tax consequence takes them," Duffy explained. "Whether it's a mortgage interest deduction, or a child deduction, they take it. And I'm sure you and your own family take every deduction possible to reduce your tax consequences as much as possible."

"Donald Trump did the same thing, Hillary Clinton has done the same thing. Why are we having a conversation about Donald Trump," Duffy asked.

When Keilar asked Duffy what he would say to his own working-class constituents who are paying taxes and see Trump paying no taxes, Duffy punted back to the "it was legal" defense. Of course, no one is saying it's not legal. But really, do we want someone who can't manage his own finances managing the country's finances? I don't think so.

Duffy flails throughout this interview, but it highlights what's really going on with Trump's candidacy. Remember, the only successes Trump has enjoyed have been when he put his name on things that he no longer owned, or pretended to be successful for a NBC reality show.

That is the Trump candidacy in a nutshell. He is slapping his name on Republican policies and branding them in hopes of winning the White House, where he will then simply play the scripts and leave the governing to idiots like Sean Duffy.
