Rachel Maddow had a little fun with the news. Trump supporters probably didn't know the difference.

What day is Election Day again?

Republican nominee Donald Trump told a crowd in Florida to go cast their votes on November 28—a full 20 days after Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 8.

“We’re doing something that’s incredible, it’s a movement,” Trump said. “But if we don’t win, all it is is a little asterisk in history. There’s never been anything like this so go and register, make sure you get out and vote Nov. 28.”

Trump’s comments came at a rally in Panama City, Fla., on Tuesday night.

UPDATE: Maybe Donald just got his Google Calendar mixed up. CNN Money reported back in May that November 28 is actually his Trump University court date. Oops!

Add November 28 to the key dates in Donald Trump's calendar.

On Friday, a federal judge set a November 28 trial date for a longstanding class action suit against Trump University, the now-defunct get-rich-on-real-estate seminar program started by Trump.

Judge Gonzalo Curiel in San Diego agreed to wait till after the presidential election but did not grant Trump's lawyers' wishes to wait till February 2017.

Or maybe he wants to wait until that case is settled before he actually runs for President?
