October 8, 2017

I know we've still have a few months left before 2017 end but the "best of" lists will start popping up soon. I wait til the final week of the year before I even consider making picks my public. I'll be spending the next couple of months with the albums released this year that I've liked a bit and pare it down from there.

One band that I do believe with make the final cut though is Australia's School Damage. Featuring members of Chook Race and Ausmuteants, the band takes it's cue from bands like the Vaselines and does a lot of nods to groups like the Young Marble Giants. It's quirky, jittery, wiggly and catchy. It makes me smile.

What are you listening to tonight?
