If AMI loses its plea agreement with the federal government over Michael Cohen's case because of Jeff Bezos, all Pecker's protections against prosecution are gone.

Fox News' senior legal analyst tells FBN's Stuart Varney that if AMI loses its plea deal with the federal government over Michael Cohen's case -- because of a possible 'blackmail' threat on Jeff Bezos --it is bad news for Trump.

In an explosive story, Jeff Bezos outed AMI in what appears to be a blackmail attempt against him. They allegedly wanted to force him to stop investigating the Saudis' connections to The National Enquirer.

Bezos believes the White House and Trump were behind the Enquirer's exposure of his extramarital affair.

Judge Napolitano discussed the Bezos allegations against the National Enquirer and said if they are true, the Amazon founder was being blackmailed.

Napolitano explained, "He was admonished by AMI’s people, ‘If you continue your investigation, wherever it goes, we will publish more photos of you.'”

Varney, "Right."

"Now that is an act of blackmail," Napolitano said.

Napolitano continued, "There are two issues here. One -- was this blackmail? If it happened as Jeff says it did he clearly was blackmailed, it's not extortion, blackmail."

"Two, This is very troublesome for AMI because they signed an agreement with the federal government in the Michael Cohen case. They must be as pure as Caesar’s wife for the next three years. Otherwise, the agreement not to prosecute them is no longer in place.”

“If they are prosecuted for being part of the Michael Cohen conspiracy, bad news for the president.”

If AMI loses their plea deal with the feds, then David Pecker will most likely sing to the prosecutors about actions Trump, Cohen and AMI took to support his candidacy, legal or not.

The Trump Vault at the National Enquirer will be opened to the public? Uh oh.
