Kaloogian's funky photo

Kaloogian's funky photo

Francine Busby must have this guy nervous to post a funky photo.

The General has created a new campaign poster for Kaloogian

We might have found out the mystery now. (via Atrios)

as Kos points out: Location? The Istanbul suburb of Bakirkoy. And for those taking score at home, that's not in Iraq. It's in Turkey. Another GOoPer liar exposed thanks to people-powered media. (with pictures)

Republican Rubber Stamp is in session

Go over to C-Span and check out what's happening. The rubber stamp is in use as we speak. I'll have some video up when I get back from the doctor in a few hours. Chisty has more...

TDS on FOX News

Jon Stewart takes a look at a segment on FOX. The humor comes between the subject matter and the video footage that they show while the people are speaking.

Mike's Blog Round Up

spiiderweb: Pentagon investigates itself...finds itself innocent...again!

Left In The Beltway: The latest episode of a podcast hosted by Oliver Willis and Shant Mesrobian - They talk about Katherine Harris, Immigration, sending Rush Limbaugh to Iraq, and the Ben Domenech scandal.

Crooked Timber: Republican War on Science Seminar

Petty Larseny: The Ten Commandments of covering religion. In this area, America's press has failed utterly to inform the public. With few exceptions, they tend to handle all religious issues and self-proclaimed religious people with kid gloves. In view of religion's pervasive influence on our political discourse, it deserves the same level of scrutiny everything else gets.

Late Night Open Thread

tbogg is working on deciphering some of the released documents from the Saddam regime.

Only on FOX

"Could 9/11 have been avoided if Moussaoui was tortured?"

To his credit Oliver North, (who I have no love for) said torture doesn't work, but it's the subject that's distasteful. FOX knows exactly what this topic is supposed to ellicit in their viewers minds regardless of what anyone says on the show.

Two weeks from today, Francine's election comes up to see who gains Cunningham's seat in San Diego. The Dukester just had some of his antiques auctioned off. Howie says she's doing well.

RNCs new memo warns the party

The rubber stamp continues?

Ramesh Ponnuru: A message for you

Ramesh, I see the title of your new book is "The Party of Death: The Democrats, the Media, the Courts, and the Disregard for Human Life," and that's just plain offensive. Regnery just loves publishing these types of novels (remember the Swift Boat book?) and as they do I promise you-I and many others will continue to respond. I hope you don't mind.

Jane is a lot nicer than me and feels a certain type of kinship towards you. She promises to have people show up and do what they can. I'm sure you can use the help...read on"

Abramoff's lawyers say he's broke

This is not a comedy.

"In his overly determined pursuit of helping people and charities, Mr. Abramoff spent virtually all of the funds he earned in his various business dealings. He has no real assets beyond their home and its contents. Determined to help others, and confident that he could always earn more money if needed, he ignored the guidance of his financial advisors and accountants who repeatedly warned him that he needed to put funds aside into personal savings. Now, Mr. Abramoff is broke....read on"
