Nomi Prins, a former Wall Street worker who created the CDSes airs Wall Street Dirty Laundry. She says the securities and derivatives were created out of thin air and are not based on anything tangible. She also discusses the motivations of Wall Street workers. IT's all about ego!
No new overdraft fees. Tony Alamo gets 175 years for child abuse. What a shock. Palin's claims are unreliable. The "liberal" media continues to argue that the surge in Iraq "worked". Newsweek also has a cover story which once again states how we "could have" won Vietnam, but tries to appear "balanced" by presenting a counterargument from Kerry. Barry says he, for one, welcomes our evil overlords. Oh, and he's already buying the "moderate" propaganda about the deficit, and planning to cut "domestic spending". (Remember when Bubba did the same thing with welfare?) Looks like the Fort Hood thing's being used as a pretext to go after all black Muslim "militants". Oh, goodie! The rich are finally "comfortable" with spending again. Oregon opens its first marijuana cafe. Fewer claims, but even fewer jobs.
Let me see if I have this correct.
Duke Cunningham receives $2.5 million in bribes and is sentenced to 8 1/2 years in prison.
William Jefferson receives $0.5 million in bribes and is sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Makes a lot of sense. Just ask for bigger bribes to receive less jail time. Or, you could be a Republican.
It was really easy to buy bud in Prague, and it's legal to smoke in the streets. I did it all the time. Good hash too. Very civilized!! I've heard there are a couple in Vancouver, and at least one in Toronto. Maybe we should just all light up and make their heads explode.
According to Huff. Post: Palin did Couric interview because "she felt pity for her". McCain's handlers supposedly told her that Couric had really low self-esteem.
The below Democrats voted to kill health care reform in Congress. We can no longer elect people just because they have a 'D' next to their name. The PCCC is dedicated to electing bold progressives to Congress in 2010. Sign up to join our cause.

I am here to tell you that the Democrats that VOTED FOR this piece of crap CORPORATIST giveaway and BONANZA for the the HEALTH CARE parasites are the ones that should go.
I don't know the story on each of the names on this list, but I would like to.
But to have Kucinich on their list blows their credibility right out of the water.
As has happened frequently to the happy rabbits here on C&L.
I spent some time in South Dakota and know a little about HERSETH/SANDLIN from SD (a really successful and effective elected Democrat from a RED STATE...) and I thought, too, that the ad was pretty harsh. My montra is "GET THE STORY BEHIND THE HEADLINES... and don't go off HALF-COCKED."
Parker Griffith, Alabama 5th, is my Rep.
This is Alabama we're talking about here, and Dr. Griffith, an Oncologist, barely beat the Republican by a couple thousand votes. He was endorsed by a long-serving, retiring Bud Cramer, (also a blue dog). He's voted against most every bill the majority voted for, including the stimulus. As much as I would like to see a better Democratic candidate, anyone who tries is going down to defeat with Nancy Pelosi's effigy being burned next to theirs. Don't waste your money trying to take this district.
Artur Davis, Alabama 7th, is running for governor, so let's just say his vote was a convenience of having a large enough majority to pass the bill without his vote. In fact, several on your list are probably saving their "risky" votes for when it is unavoidable. The Republicans are just mad they can't force more moderates into giving them something to run against.
My bigger concern are the Reps who Bart Stupak says won't vote for a reconciled bill without his amendment left in. You know, the ones letting the Catholic hierarchy tell them how to vote. They are a bigger concern for me than some blue dogs trying to hold their seats in swing districts. That's just politics. Any bill that passes the House is going to be better than the Senate version.
Until you respect the citizenship of those with which you disagree, you're not a true American.
CNN, in their segment that includes Stewart pointing out KKKlannity's hoax, gives Sean the last word with his faux apology. Where's the follow-up? ZERO discussion about the severity of what was done by Fux.
Where is the FCC?
"Parachutes are allowed in checked or carry-on baggage, but may not be worn in flight."
Maybe the only good man in the senate. I know for a fact my senator is not worth a crap.
republicanism/conservatism is a mental illness that is killing America!
