I think there is a mistake. All the research I have done indicates that Solomon is running for the 6th congressional district, not the 2nd. His website says the 2nd, but describes the 6th.
Norman Solomon IS running for the New 2nd Congressional District, It's comprised of parts of the Former 1st and 6th Districts currently represented by Rep. Lynne Woosley and Rep. Mike Thompson.
This seat will go to a Democrat, but lets ensure that it goes to the only true Liberal progressive Democrat running for this seat. His main Democratic opponent is a big business, Blue Dog Democrat who will represent corporations unlike Norman who will truly represent the people and help bring the political spectrum back to the left.
