Two things to think about- olds don't understand today's tech like those darned kids do. They were careless or clueless. And they know that the NSA spying program is so full of bugs that unless specifically targeted their conversations will be lost in the data stew. Problem is that their conversations are monitored heavily.

So paint me surprised.
Growing up in the 70's you would always hear some Tom T Hall on the radio that the parents listened to at the time. One song in particular was really big, it's called "I Love". One of the lines in it is: I love coffee in a cup.
Driving along one fine summer day, the car is packed with us kids, the radio is on, that song comes on, and my brother attempting to sing along sings as loud as he could that "I love coffee cups."
I thought I was going to die laughing. Happy birthday Tom.
