Corruption is the gateway to fascism. Why should we leapfrog right over the corruption and straight into fascism? These things are not equal, nor either/or. Anyone who would worry about corruption but think fascism was not as important has a severe cognition problem. Zealots always make this kind of mistake, and all one-issue voters, for that matter.
I see what the problem is. You don't understand how the term "militant" is commonly used. People practicing non-violence are not militant. People "throwing their bodies on the line, sometimes getting beaten, jailed and even killed" are not being militant. I guess I should have seen that from the first post I responded to where you say "The Civil Rights movement had to force the issue on the government and LBJ" but then continue to with "Think they would have gotten those changes by being nice and not doing militant direct action?" The Civil Rights movement, which is generally understood to be the movement initiated by Rosa Parks and brought to prominence by MLK and supported by the Freedom Riders was not militant.
What an asshat.... Constipated Jerkoff....
While he could, I don't think he would accept the position, at least not immediately. He would be great at it and it would be fun to watch republican heads going off like a 4th of July finally.
Tonight, I'm sticking with my standby list....https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
