You are correct sir. There many alternatives but since Repubs are forbidden from endorsing added taxes upon the wealthy, cuts are the only solution.
Kasich may well end up being the Mitch Daniels/John Huntsman of this cycle, the somewhat sane sounding conservative that everyone but Republicans themselves think would be their strongest candidate. But I wouldn't write him off based on complaints from freepers and other hard core wingnuts, they all hated McCain and Romney as well, and they despise Jeb even more. As for the donor class, they will back whoever they think can win.

I think they were at least smart enough not to do that. But, of course, they still felt "picked on," having to pay taxes and having people ask about their taxes--and their Cayman accounts--and their car elevator!
