Senator Mitch McConnell tried to pull a fast one on Kentucky voters. (WHAS) At a Friday news conference with fellow U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky), McConnell reiterated his aim to repeal the Affordable Care Act, often referred to as Obamacare, then was asked whether Kynect, Kentucky's state based health insurance exchange, should be dismantled. "I think that's unconnected to my comments about the overall question here," McConnell said, with no additional explanation.
