Same story here. The last presidential "election" my dyed-in-the-wool GOP dad voted in before he passed was the 2000 debacle. Shortly after the SOCTUS appointed Cooter to the throne, I congratulated my dad on his man having triumphed. He looked at me strangely and said, "I didn't vote for that maniac. I voted for Gore."
I was quite speechless.
Not political, just thought I would share an interesting scene from my favorite movie, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind".
If you haven't seen the movie (and you should), a man (played by Jim Carrey) finds out that his girlfriend has decided to erase him from her memory. He is horribly saddened after finding this out and decides to do the same. As his memories get erased you see them coming apart. As the movie goes on you go further and further back in their relationship and see the good memories that they forgot about, when they first met and fell in love. He realizes that he doesn't want her erased from his memory but is sedated and can't reverse the process. This scene is his last memory of her before she is gone from his consciousness and you can see this memory slowly crumbling. It is part sci fi, part romantic-comedy and pretty amazing all around.
Any rate, here it is:
Remember. These clowns think of sex far more than LGBT do. Why else would this cretin think that gender identity issues only go man-to-woman? Why doesn't he see that Bruce Jenner actually probably felt extremely uncomfortable every time he was in the men's shower? Perverts.
In the Civil War the north had the Gatling gun and did not use it.How do today's ammosexuals hope to match the fire power of the US armed forces?
I'm hoping it's finally over.
