MSNBC projects Pennsylvania goes to Obama

This one is huge. Pennsylvania was critical to McCain's "comeback" strategy in nearly every scenario I saw, and the numbers were huge in Obama's favor.

Florida's hanging out there too:

Updates coming.

UPDATE, 5:32:

MSNBC's Electoral College count:

Obama 103
McCain 34

UPDATE, 5:36

Alan Grayson wins FLA's 8th.

Georgia called for McCain.

ABC + NBC also say the same thing. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_pl130

My native Keystone State was key for McCain. So that means ...

Fox refuses to call PA because they don’t have official anything (including WPE - within precinct error) stats.

Golly gosh…let’s hold off on reporting, unlike calling FL for Bush in 2000, right?

From little green snotballs…

(We’re trying to ignore exit polls this year, because they’re basically worthless.)

Exit polls only, I guess?

COuldn't hold off much longer and be "credible" I suppose.

CBS has called it for Kay Hagen over Elizabeth Dole!!!

Ding dong the the witch is dead.

...

I love it! Dirty politics gets pwned!!!

MSNBC just called it.

I'm waiting impatiently for the VA results.

Never in doubt. Shout out to my people in Erie!!!

I spent my high school years in western PA. My Democratic family has lots to be proud of!!! Woot!

I just heard on ABC News that since Barack's grandmother voted early, that her vote is still being counted. Hawaii law. God bless her.

BBC America has an EXCELLENT election returns with superb coverage and INTELLIGENT hosts and guests. Must see TV!

Let's recall that horrible video of those Pennsylvanians filing in to the McCain rally spewing their hatred. Who's crying now?

Fox News finally gave in and called it... it sounded like Brit Hume almost said "this is a devastating blow for me-- err, McCain".. heh.

Well even those in denial can't stay that way forever.

Time to run to the liquor store...

Those crazy Dems are starting to party in Toronto. Reports are that they will bring in more beer and a 2nd Mountie.

Australian pundits have already called Ohio to Obama.

seems to be having a nervous breakdown. It has drawn a blank. Anyone at all surprised?

Now that's funny...

Ok I am changing my opinion:
FOX NEWS IS AS BAD AS THE REST.

Those right wingers do not like the truth.

How's Texas?

Just heard early reports of statewide the count stands at 52% McCain-48% Obama. For Texas, that's fantastic. My county, Bexar (San Antonio) is 48%McCain-52% Obama!! That's amazing and speaks well for what is going on elsewhere in the country!!

I tried to see if I could live stream them to watch their heads explode, but no luck.

Yes

The whole site appears to be frozen. Except for telling us their the best news team in the business they've got nothing to say. I was so looking forward to their meltdown but it was more of an explosion.

Traditionally red area turning blue.

State still too close to call...

Reported on Democracy Now!:

"I'm a racist but I'm voting for Obama because we need change and I'm going to give the guy a chance."

I just emailed that to a friend working (still) at an Obama office in Las Vegas.

mojo rising

...because all the Fox News anchors and contributors are uncomfortably aware of the way this election is swinging. Great television!

ugh

Damn I'm stressed. Can't wait until this is over.

This is one to enjoy.
I've not lately heard the wisdom of Abraham Lincoln on the difficulty of fooling all of the people over a ridiculously long period (all) of the time.

to relax... damn stomach virus. Otherwise I'd be on a 2nd six pack by now - and I just picked up this delicious amber lager from Long Island!

If Barack gets FL, I will scream :-D

F You Jeb!

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/coun...

And FUCK Jeb from me as well...

The number of actual votes for each candidate are almost identical. How the hell is that possible? There is no damn way that 50% of eligible voters are voting for McCain. No way.

Diebold machines?

That is the only possible explanation Ron. Popular vote should not even be anywhere near close, when Obama is kicking his old ass all over the map basically. Something stinks.

Popular vote is almost identical. Amazing considering the numbers for each state are not even close, except for the states McCain has won or is winning. ImFuckingPossible.

It's ours.

YES

Must...contain...HAPPINESS!!!!

After Hurricane Katrina, why would New Orleans go Red?

Because so many of the Democrats, specifically African Americans have been displaced and have not returned. They have moved to other states-and THATS why the demographic vootes are shifting from red to blue, in certain states.

It's official Barack has got Ohio!!!!!!

...go Obama go!!

ABC just called Oh to Obama. Australian pundits called it a half an hour ago.

All over bar the shouting, screaming, laughing, dancing.

CNN just called Ohio for Obama!!! Yee Haaaa

which they've calling for Obama. I live in California and voted for Obama this morning. I'm so damn proud of my country right now. I have been pacing and crying for hours. Damn I've voted for presidents since 1968 and this is the best election and the most important ever.

the Fred Willard character from Best in Show.
maybe even Mighty Wind.
