This week's "In Memoriam" observes the passing of Jefferson Thomas, 67, one of the "Little Rock Nine" students who desegregated Little Rock's Central High School in 1967; John W. Kluge, 95, one of America's richest men and the founder of the multimedia communications empire Metromedia; Elizabeth Jenkins, 104, noted biographer of Jane Austen and one of England's literary lions; and in Afghanistan and Iraq, American soldiers PFC Diego Montoya, 20; CPT Jason T. McMahon, 35; LCpl Ross S. Carver, 21; Cpl. Philip G. E. Charte, 22; Sgt. Jesse M. Balthaser, 23; Sgt. Philip C. Jenkins, 26; Pvt. James F. McClamrock, 22; Cpl. John C. Bishop, 25; and 1Lt. Todd W. Weaver, 26.
