The deadline for Occupy Pittsburgh to leave the BNY Mellon Corp.-owned park where it has been since early October has passed, and protesters have responded by saying they are winterizing the camp will evict the bank instead.

BNY Mellon asked the protesters to leave by noon Sunday, saying they were concerned about reports of hypothermia and the use of propane heaters, gas-powered generators and other devices in the Mellon Green Park. Protesters said there have been no cases of hypothermia, and no heaters or generators in any tents.

BNY Mellon has said it intends to go to court Monday to evict the protesters.
