Iowa Republican Asshat Steve King has made no secret of his opposition to undocumented immigrants. I would say that statements King made recently in an interview were over the top, or shocking, but they're just more of his typical insulting racist b.s. that he certainly knows draws cheers from other racist asshats like himself.
King claimed during an interview with Newsmax recently that the majority of young, undocumented immigrants in America -- commonly referred to as Dreamers -- are actively engaged in the drug trade.
"For everyone who's a valedictorian, there's another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they're hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert."
King abuses freedom of speech much the same as the Phelps clan from the Westboro Baptist Church, just because he can. Who votes for this kind of person to represent them in government?
King introduced an amendment last month that would reverse the Obama administration's delayed deportations of DREAMers, leading DREAMers to stage a protest in his Washington office.
