Over to Torino Italy this week for a short concert by the Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino conducted by their music director Gianandrea Noseda. Noseda, who was up until 2008 Music Director of the BBC Philharmonic, has now assumed the Director post with the Torino orchestra. In addition to numerous guest appearances all over the world (Including a recent stint in Pittsburgh), Noseda has been active in the recording studio with a flood of releases for Chandos Records.
This week it's Noseda conducting Beethoven's 6th (Pastorale) Symphony in a live-and-direct broadcast from the Teatro Regio di Torino, by RAI Radio 3 on October 4th (yesterday).
