Pay no attention to the woman on stilts.

Fortunately for everyone, The Blue Aeroplanes are still together, still recording and still performing live. Having gotten started as an Art School project in 1981, they have blossomed as one of the best bands to come out of Bristol England in the 90's. That they are still together is a tribute to the fact they are just good at what they do and audiences still love them. That they are hardly known on this side of the Atlantic probably doesn't surprise anyone and goes under the heading: Here's Something Else You're Missing.

But if you're curious and have heard rumors, here is a track from their 1995 album Rough Music and the opening track Detective Song.

Check them out and dig into any of the pile of albums they've released over the years. They're all worth a listen.
