Cornershop - out of the stew comes an amazing soup.

Cornershop have been together for almost twenty years. They've gone through a lot of personnel and direction changes during that time, but the one thing they've been consistent with is their dedication to mashing it up. An amazing blend of Indie, Alternative, Hip-Hop and traditional Indian - it makes for a wild combination and probably explains why they have such a loyal and large following in the Asian community throughout Europe and everyone else, for that matter, who love how things work when they blend together and do it so well.

Tonight's track is off their new album Cornershop & The Double 'O' Groove Of which came out in March. United Provinces Of India starts the album and gives you a taste of what the rest of the album is about.

Great stuff and if you're not familiar with them, by all means check out their site - you can get the album from there or download it via iTunes.

Definitely music to broaden your horizons with. And that's what life is supposed to be about.
