Otis Rush - Chicago Blues at its best

Staying in Chicago so far. The Otis Rush Blues Band and their 1966 recording for Vanguard Records, It's A Mean Old World. The legendary Otis Rush was one of the many blues artists who became the holy grail for the British Invasion bands of the 1963-1965 period and later for the resurgence in interest in Urban Blues in the U.S. during the later 60's. And you don't have to wonder why.

Sounds kind of perfect right about now.
