Closing out the week with the title track off Roxy Music's classic 1982 album Avalon. For a very long time, this was the album to shag to. And it makes perfect sense. Avalon is one of the most consistent albums ever made - the songs flow one right into the other. Let's put it this way - the album isn't going to bust up the mood at any point.
And I think it was a great way to end out the legacy of Roxy Music, since it was the last studio album they did before going on their eighteen year hiatus and doing solo projects.
As always, Bryan Ferry and company said the perfect thing at the perfect time.
