The ever-present Bono. Reviews ran the gamut.

Not since the 80's had U2 played a festival, and this one was met with some apprehension. Over the years, since their initial debut, U2 have been classified as something of a safe band with certain pretensions. And coupled with their recent relocation to The Netherlands as part of a tax shelter, found some people muttering the word hypocrisy. But still, U2 have enjoyed a large and loyal fan base for a very long time, and they were out in force on June 24th when U2 played Glastonbury.

Tonight's track dips into their extensive back catalog. I Will Follow was a very early single and one of their earliest hits and responsible for establishing U2 as an influential new force on the music scene in the early 80's. Mixed reviews not withstanding.

Here it is, as recorded by BBC 6 Music On June 24th with at least 30,000 rain soaked fans.
