It just wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day withhout a word or two from Ireland's greatest statesman Eamon DeValera. Recorded in 1919 during an extended visit and fund-raising for the IRA, DeValera appealed to the U.S. to intervene, by way of the newly constructed League Of Nations, with the hope of achieving independence. A situation that continues to this day in Northern Ireland.
