Following his lengthy interview with Rick Perry this morning on Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace gave Mitt Romney a knock for being the only GOP candidate to fail make an appearance on his show this year.
WALLACE: With Governor Perry's appearance, we have now interviewed all the major Republican candidates in our 2012 one-on-one series except Mitt Romney. He has not appeared on any Sunday talk show since March of 2010. We invited Governor Romney, but his campaign says he's still not ready to sit down for an interview.
There's no doubt Romney wants to avoid doing as many interviews as possible since he'll likely be asked about the endless amounts of flip flops he's made on a varying number of issues and wants to avoid gaffes that could be used against him in campaign ads. He may be able to get away with that for now, but I've got to wonder how long that's going to last.
