Does this ad from the Chamber of Commerce make you furious?
There are like only 200 views of this hideous ad. I hate to post it, but I think some of you who have donated to our Blanche Lincoln action need to be aware of what you have supported and the conservative forces that stand against us. The Chamber of Commerce supports the squishy Conservadem Blanche Lincoln (who is squatting the with Backus Dogs) with a new ad that actually has the audacity to say she's standing up for working families. If she were, then she'd be on board with the public option.
This is our ad running against it right now in heavy rotation in Lincoln's back yard.
As Howie Klein says: The ads run for another 8 days and they are running on CNN, Fox (minus Glenn Beck) and MSNBC in every part of the state.

CRAP.... I just found out that where I work is a member of the Van Buren chamber of commerce... which in turn is part of the Arkansas chamber of commerce.
I'm going to boycott me.
My coworker asked if I was still going to cash my check this week and I replied: Yes, because I'll be taking money from them.
Blanche Lincoln is probably a member of the Masonic Lodge which is how you get ahead in conservative politics in some parts of the country.

Both Lincoln and the CoC should be ashamed they are a part of this smear campaign, designed to defraud the American public and spread fear-mongering lies.
It's a shame the Democrats have used this opportunity for real reform to actually make things worse. But it seems that is exactly what they plan to do.
I'm sitting here wondering what it will take to make our government represent the people. Because today it represents big business interests and we're only the lowly customer who is nothing more than a means to a profitable end.
I am from Arkansas and a life long Democrat. I have only voted against a Democratic candidate once since I could vote (and that was because I met the man and was completely embarrassed that he was a member of my party).
For the second time in my life I will not be voting Democratic in the upcoming election. Senator Lincoln had a choice, stand with the people of Arkansas and support the public option (which as everyone knows is heavily favored in this state) or stand with the groups lining her pockets. She decided to stand against the people of Arkansas and I will be doing everything in my power to unseat her.

that what the ad meant to say was that she was standing firm for the right of corporate America to completely break the working family, or maybe she meant the working family wherein all members, including the gradeschool-age children, have to work to help pay for health insurance coverage.
Rate it one star and leave a comment. Be civil, but in no uncertain terms make it clear that Blanche Lincoln cares not a whit for her constituency, but will so anything for her corporate masters.

if there is any group more psychotic, mean, evil, dispicable and Amnerican worker hating than the Chambers of Commerce, I don't know who they could be?
A similar ad has been running here in Texas telling voters "to call Senator Cornyn's office and thank him for standing up for Seniors and to protect Medicare."
This man CAMPAIGNED on privatizing Social Security in 2002, and whose Party has tried to destroy Medicare since its inception 44 years ago, and now, as they fight the very people that created Medicare and seek to expand their healthcare, they want us to call and thank him?
And I have no doubt many have. This whole healthcare debate has been a lesson-by-example of why we need to improve educationin this country.
Took the liberty of calling the number to share my disapproval of the misinformation in the ad and a generic operator answered and then forwarded me to a full voice mail that was not accepting messages.
I hope it got jammed up with messages of disapproval.

Blanche Lincoln has also come out against the Employee Free Choice Act and was one of the very few Democrats to vote for the Columbian trade bill. These and other examples prove that she votes the way the Chamber of Commerce wants her to.
