Daily Kos Research has a new poll out on Arkansas, and Blanche Lincoln has taken a big hit ever since Blue America came after her.
Daily Kos/Research 2000 Arkansas Poll

2010 Senate race

Blanche Lincoln (D) 44
Gilbert Baker (R) 37

Blanche Lincoln (D) 45
Curtis Coleman (R) 37

Blanche Lincoln (D) 46
Tom Cox (R) 29

Blanche Lincoln (D) 47
Kim Hendren (R) 28

Lincoln is under the 50 percent "safe" mark for incumbents, despite facing a lineup of potential foes unknown by 75-85 percent of poll respondents. There is certainly room for those Republicans to make gains -- or lose support -- as they become better known. Still, Lincoln's electoral prospects won't be harmed by the health care debate, as the public option polls extremely well in Arkansas.

Do you favor or oppose creating a government-administered health insurance option that anyone can purchase to compete with private insurance plans?

Favor Oppose Not Sure
All 55 38 7
Dem 81 14 5
Rep 22 71 7
Ind 56 34 10

The major reason we first targeted Lincoln back in July was that she's running for reelection in 2010, while many of the ConservaDems on the Senate Finance Committee did not have to face their voters.

It's amazing that she's under the 50% threshold now. We'll be running another wave of TV ads coming up, and I wanted to thank all our readers for making this possible. You can still donate to Blue America's Health Care for Choice Act Blue page so we can keep fighting for the public option

UPDATE: Change Congress has an action against AR's Blue Dog Mike Ross.

Today, we are announcing our latest TV ad -- calling out the "Blue Dog Democrat" leader, Rep. Mike Ross (Arkansas), for his special-interest contributions from the health industry.

Click here to see the ad and help us air it in Arkansas.

This ad includes a substantial cameo by Keith Olbermann, and for those of you who know my voice, you'll recognize a certain narrator.

We're all keeping the heat on.

While I support ads against Democrats siding with Republicans...

ANY ad that goes after a Democrat needs to ALSO go after the Republicans they are siding with.

The consequences could be to help the Republican candidate, which gets you no further than you were before.

Criticize THE VOTE, not the candidate.

a public option and ask why Blanche Lincoln is siding with the Republicans and the insurance companies.

.............I'm done being 'sensible' and 'moderate' .........it gets us no where at all!!! You sound like Rahmie, the ZIONISTWHORE. I say ni modo, hit them high, hit them low, hit them every where they go, expose the paid players. I love that ol' PUKIE Blanch Lincoln is getting fried!!!

1. The Right shows far more eagerness for a fight than the hapless Left, or what remains of it.

2. Obama “smacks down” progressives like gnats, yet they continue to behave as if their mission in life is to save his presidency.

Why does the White House seem to value Glenn Beck's opinions more than those of its own Democratic base for that matter?

I would also have liked to see an ad that says that a republican is not the best solution either. I scrolled through those numbers looking for a Dem who might run against her.

On the other hand, if it gets her to do the right thing I don't think this will hurt so much. The public forgets pretty fast.

Is it better to leave conservative districts to the republicans than to elect conservadems? The bluedogs are hurting the cause of the people with their wide open pandering in my opinion. This pushes people back into the clutches of the GOP when they are yet again disappointed by the Dems. The numbers look good on paper with all the members, But the votes aren't there!!!

Let's all pay good money to get a Rethug to replace her!

That'll show 'em!

If wing nut loony toons who shouldn't be in public service can sneak into political power by stealth and take over the Republican Party over a period of two decades why not use the same tactic with the Dem party?

She's about as much a Democrat as Newt Gingrich- like most "Conservadems", "Blue Dogs", "Blue Ticks", whatever. Down here we get to choose between a NeoCon Rapture Right Rethugnican and one of these. The southern Democratic Party apparatus is firmly in the hands of old line southern money establishment that opposes unions, gay rights, women's rights, environmental laws, consumer protection and all the rest. They are also VERY business friendly.

The south is an oligarchy, has been and resists change. Just like the 50 state strategy brought forth the 2006 and 2008 crop of victories, we need a campaign to help fund progressives in the south, because they can get the votes, just not any help from the king-makers in the Democratic establishment in these states.

How do I know this? I live in Arkansas and have lived in Florida, Texas, Georgia and Tennessee as well. Mike Papantonio of Ring of Fire fame has commented upon this many times and he's on the mark.

Rahmie, the Zionist whore will never support this!

The gutless, spineless right has the advantage because the IDIOTS on the LEFT have no BALLS. Now use excessive profanity or attack a NIT WIT on the right and thee Clowns on the blog shut you down yet THEY WILL NOT offer viable challenges to the SCUM BAGS on the RIGHT. now to prove that NO ONE really reads these comment here is the proposal.

A STRONG GRASSROOTS and MEDIA BLITZ on CONGRESS and the SENATE and the WHITE HOUSE a TOTAL and COMPLETE REPEAL of ALL Medical Coverage of all Government employees except those in the Military and who have served in the Military and have Military connected disabilities and illnesses. if the Tax payer can pay for these DIRT BAG LOW LIFE Congressional senatorial and White House and Federal Employees then turn around and deny me and my family I now DENY you and your Family.

Next REPEAL the Anti trust act against the Insurance Industry they are a Conglomerate not a Business and if they fail let them fail with CRIMINAL indictments.

So here ids the proof that these comments ARE NOT READ.il
