The clock struck twelve and we have an official government shut down!

The Boston Globe has a cool article posted called the A history of US government shutdowns.

The Huff Po has an article about how Congressmen are boozing it up tonight, but I heard from an inside source in DC that Speaker John Boehner smells like booze all the time.
