Ok, gearheads -- I'm curious to know what kind of amps, axes and effects our guitar playing readers prefer. I'm not a tone snob, but I definitely prefer tube amps. I've owned Marshall, Ampeg, Hiwatt and Fender amps over the years, but always seem to end up back with Marshall.
Lately, I've been researching effects and have come across some nifty boutique pedals. This one and this one are on my short list. Coolest pedal name -- Mucho Boosto. There's a lot to be said for effect-free purity, but if you use or know of something cool, or off the beaten path feel free to share. This guy reviews a ton of gear too.
