After 2006's disappointing and labored So Divided, the best indie-rock band that still considers loudness to be an essential part of the formula reminded listeners why they are deserving of a career as long as their name with The Century of Self, which came out last Tuesday.

When a band's sixth album still has as song that serves as a worthy introduction to their catalog as "Bells of Creation", some dabs are due.
