Last night a group that I'm playing in opened for Har Mar Superstar, and I had no idea what a treat I was in for. Har Mar wears his paunch and Krusty the Clown hair (sorry dude, it's true!) like a goddamn sex symbol and takes an ecstatic crowd through an hour of equal parts Eminem, Al Green, Wendy O'Williams and Weird Al. He'll be on tour for the rest of the year -- it's a party worth attending. The new single "Tall Boy" is good, but for the full experience this is best experienced live and in person.

And oh, Kanye West featured this video on his blog, Har Mar made a point to nonetheless talk smack about him from the stage and how he hopes it doesn't make anyone think that they're friends, 'cause they're not. A great gaze into the mouth of a gift horse if there ever was one.
