Sooner or later, everyone rides the Steve Albini train. Former Pulp frontman and beloved singer-songwriter in his own right Jarvis Cocker has a new album recorded by Albini, Further Complications, which comes out May 19th.

Albini, known for his hands-off, natural approach to recording and general policy of charging small bands $400 a day and superstars tens of thousands, has had his turn with most hard rock luminaries at one time or another, from Cheap Trick to Nirvana to Neurosis. This record should be an interesting fit -- hopefully one without lots of plot and dialog to distract from the songs, which we see above.
