Grandmother sues McCain for hate speech
By David Edwards A Kansas City grandmother is suing John McCain and Sarah Palin for promoting hate speech. Mary Kay Green told KSHB that some statements at McCain campaign rallies terrify her as much as the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
“I know the secret service is on this case, but John McCain and Sarah Palin can stop some of this by a statement that they abhor these death threats and will not tolerate them,” said Green. Her lawsuit claims that the McCain campaign has intentionally and recklessly portrayed Barack Obama as a terrorist.
Green believe that Palin has been working crowds into a frenzy. There have been reports from McCain campaign rallies with words like “kill him,” “off with his head,” and “Muslim terrorist.”
Green said, “You have to take these things seriously.”

Just as the television media has received a black eye and potentially millions of dollars in lawsuits due to their pandering of the lies leading to the war which has killed over 5,000 of our soldiers (not to mention a million Iraqis), they will now suffer the same consequences for not speaking out about the obvious "hate speech" promulgated by Palin and his Secessionist Sidekick for two weeks now.
Their terror rallies have resulted in people being assaulted and battered - criminal offenses. Their rallies have even included death threats in the public arena. This is in serious violation of the Patriot Act and if it were you or I, we'd both be in handcuffs right now.
Where is the justice of our mainstream media? Where is the integrity of our mainstream media? Are they actually "co-conspirators" at this point to the total degradation of american society?
The american people think so. Where does their obligation lie in speaking out about "hate speech".
Has it taken a group of American rabbis to speak out against precisely the same climate which resulted in the Holocost? The words of Palin echoe those of Adolph Hitler as he tried to divide the people and determine precisely whom had the right to live.
Michele Bachman just yesterday in front of many viewers spewed the same rhetoric of Adolph Hitler right before our very eyes....
Where is the mainstream media right now? Tacitly condoning these hateful, divisive, repugnant tactics by their silence?
I say the mainstream media today is committing "errors of omission" and americans will put them in their place. If they continue to support this unamerican hate speech erupting from the mouths of McCain/Palin/Bachman, then they are guilty of "aiding and abetting" the results of the actions of these hate mongers.
The mainstream media is standing on a very precarious precipice today with the american people. In their silence, they have tacitly approved of and condoned what may, in fact, become the next march of Adolph Hitler right before our very eyes.
If they fail us by failing to speak out against this hate language in our public arenas, then they have filed the american people totally and should become irrelevant ciphers.
If they don't have the balls to speak out because of their fascist ownership, we don't need them any longer to provide truth and information to us.
It's time to separate the wheat from the chaff in terms of our whoring media - it's time to out these conspirators who are tacitly supporting hate speech in this country.
It's time to sue the pants off of any media outlet who continues to aid and abet the resurrection of this Third Reich among us.
As an attempt to trivialize and condone the hate speech of McCain & Palin, their trolls spin the lie that "things get rough during campaigns".
This is not even remotely true. The hate language being intentionally used by McCain and Palin at their rallies constitutes "domestic terrorist tactics". It has gone so far over the acceptable "politics as usual" edge that it's approaching very dangerous new territory in this country.
It's time to see if we, americans have learned the serious lessons of the 60's or not. Time to put up or shut up. Time to fight for the progress we've made over the past 5 decades or not.

It's clear that Sarah Palin doesn't even have the respect of Robert Gates and was snubbed as he called a special meeting on Iraq for Obama, McCain, and Biden.
This woman doesn't have the credentials to be anything more than president of some local PTA. North Carolina's first day of early voting has revealed several things:
100,000 people turned out yesterday to vote which is a 40% increase than the first day of voting in 2004.
Here's the breakdown of voters by party:
64% Democrat
21% Republican
15% Unaffiliated
This bodes well for Obama. No doubt that even if the Unaffiliateds are split 50/50 (7-l/2 percent) which we know they are not - unaffiliateds lean very heavily democrat always - this brings the total number of Democrats who voted early to 71-l/2%.
This is great news for Obama.
If day one of early voting is any indication, I believe we will see North Carolina turning blue very soon.

IVAW members arrested while attempting to present questions to Obama and McCain
One hour before the final presidential debate of the 2008 campaign, fourteen members of IVAW marched in formation to Hofstra University to present questions for the candidates. IVAW had requested permission from debate moderator Bob Schieffer to ask their questions during the debate but got no response.
The contingent of veterans in dress uniforms and combat uniforms attempted to enter the building where the debate was to be held in order to ask their questions but were turned back by police. The IVAW members at the front of the formation were immediately arrested, and others were pushed back into the crowd by police on horseback. Several members were injured, including former Army Sergeant Nick Morgan who suffered a broken cheekbone when he was trampled by police horses before being arrested.

McCain continues his slur of the day campaign with the new charge that Obama is a "Socalist" (and hiding it.) So according to the McCain campaign, Obama is an elite, dangerously naiive inexperienced radical un-American Commie terrorist sympathizer who "does not see America in the same way that we do." However, at least he is not an Arab.
Now that he has played both the "communist" and "terrorist" cards, what is next on the agenda? My guess is that "black power radical" charge will be made explicit again.
When McCain says things like this, I can just hear him in his bathrobe, sitting in the attic of one of his many houses and wacking the TV set with his cane each time that Obama appears.
