Um, let me think about this.

HELL YES THEY ARE.

That is a great link.

I know so many people whose lives have been manipulated and ruined by these legal drug pushers who get all kinds of kickbacks to tell you some company line that you are depressed, have ADHD, Restless Leg Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, tennis elbow, insomnia, you are a fucked up person syndrome. They will never stop pushing these drugs on every walk of life from children to adults to the elderly.

Problem is that a lot of these drugs have horrific side-effects and can majorly screw your brain. These "doctors" don't really know how they work on the individual anyway because they are wooed by special Big Pharma sponsored conventions where the pharmaceutical companies just hand out pamplets and pat these doctors on the back

The psychiatric industry will generally throw a drug cocktail at you that leaves you reeling and then go off on a kickback cruise.

I know so many people who have gone through this.

at the hands of these pill-pushing assholes...they didn't even try to analyze her for a long time, just glanced at her records and prescribed the newest pills they are PAID to promote.
Now she has a decent shrink and has been able to lead a productive life for the last 10 years.

which publishes some pretty interesting links regarding the I/P situation....

Some people, including kids, do indeed medication, but it should be a tool of last resort, especially with the young. It's pretty scary how many high school kids are on meds now.

For the Econospeak piece, I agree about America's reluctance to nationalize or liquate, but I've yet to see a good argument against it. The opposition seems grounded in ideology and denial - not to mention class warfare from an entrenched, incompetent, corrupt elite and their pals in government.

Hilzoy's piece is great.

This is a must read article. You need to visit Hart's blog. He is informative, funny and sadly true.

More on Turdman in today's "Vorpal Sword".
Jim Hoft's inner moron is showing.
