Having worked with Repugs in power above me I learned that they don't care about human rights, worker rights or civil rights. But I found that if you show a misuse of state money (I worked for the state) you get fast results. We had a person being abusive to her underlings for 20 years. When we found out she sold "state property" at a tag sale she was gone in a week!
The point?
Is Norm still getting paid to be a Senator? He hasn't technically "lost his job" yet. So are they paying him? When Al gets the job will he be entitled to "back pay"?
So Norm may be taking money that isn't his. Will he have to pay it back (fat chance) or turn it over to Al (fat chance!). If the people inMN find out they have been paying for 3 reps and only getting 1 (Norm is 1 and Al's back pay would be number 2) amybe we can get faster action from their state legislature than any other way...

Actually, you would need to be a white woman to qualify for that status.
Largely because white men hold a majority of positions of power, the women who outnumber them have long belonged to what might be call a “silent majority”.
